2015 BMW X5 M & X6 M officially revealed

BMW recently released details of the 2015 X5 M and X6 M, ahead of its debut at the LA Auto Show.

Under the hood, the new X5 M and X6 M will be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine, mated to a 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The motor produces 567 hp and 750 Nm of torque, which helps them reach 0-100 kph in 4.2 seconds and hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph.

Common design features among the two models is the aggressive front bumper, a different grille, side skirts, ventilated front fenders and 21-inch alloy-wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP tyres. The rear bumper gets a diffuser kit which surrounds the sports quad-exhaust system.

Inside, the M models get Merino leather sports seats, a revised instrument cluster, leather wrapped M-steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters, leather-wrapped dashboard, Alcantara roof liner, M-branded door sill plates, aluminium trim, contrast stitching, a 4-zone automatic climate control system and a Harman Kardon audio system.

The 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M should make its debut in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries by the beginning of next year.
