Mazda has officially revealed the 2016 Mazda 6 facelift at the 2014 LA Auto Show.

The exterior gets minor updates such as a redesigned grille and restyled headlights & taillights, a shark fin antenna and 19-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish.

The interior gets a more extensive upgrade such as a new dashboard with a 7-inch display screen and a new center console. Mazda claims they have improved the seats for more comfort, which also gets updated upholstery and new color choices. Other features include an electronic parking brake, additional sound deadening material and reduced panel gaps, resulting in a quieter ride inside the cabin.

The 2016 Mazda 6 should make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries in the second half of next year.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Mazda 6 buyer guide.

  1. All the interior upgrades is in line with what exactly it was lacking. Shows that they listened and did the needful.

  2. Awkward start button location

  3. Love it so much! … How is the quality of their after-sale service in UAE?

    • I have owned the last 2 generations of the Mazda 6 and now own the current one. The vehicles are very reliable….made in Japan too, if that concerns you. The service is decent….mostly friendly staff and they are doing their best to improve as they go along. If you’re trying to benchmark service provided at say Toyota, for example, they are decent. Besides its not like Toyota is giving better service these days. Although i hear Honda give exemplary service the minute you walk in

  4. I still own mazda6 2.0 from the day it arrived here in 2003,i still like it but honestly this car in heavy rainy day are so hard to drive because the computer stick the speed to 40~60km/h only and if you try to press much the car will not respond , but in all weather is nice, reliable and acceleration + fuel economy is good too.

the service is good but sometimes “as what people know about mazda parts” are kinda expensive, and the strange point about them they are using motor oil called “veedol” which is not famous in uae like Total or Mobil

Service stuff are ready for anyone because clients dealing with mazda unlike other brands also the workshop are small

  5. When new version of mazda 6 2016 is scheduled for launch in UAE
