So we got a 2015 Kia Sorento V6
The Kia Sorento was never a serious contender in the crossover stakes, largely because it was one of the last holdovers from the “old” generation of Kia before ex-Audi designer Peter Schreyer took over and transformed the model line with more desirable styling. The all-new 2015 Kia Sorento finally gets that upgrade.
Externally, the styling is fairly original, even if its individual elements match certain premium brands. However, it looks like old Peter did not spend too much time on the rear look, finishing it off with a generic look.
Inside, there’s a surprising amount of soft-touch padding and tech features for a crossover at this price-point, which is one of the key reasons Kia sales have grown so quickly in recent times.
With a winning look and no shortage of amenities, the Sorento will be a hit with people who think of cars as aesthetically-pleasing appliances. But has Kia finally nailed the driving dynamics? More in the full review.
