Nissan Patrol Infiniti QX80

2025 Nissan Patrol vs 2025 Infiniti QX80 compared in pictures

With the launch of the all-new 2025 Nissan Patrol, we compare it in pictures to its more posh cousin, the Infiniti QX80, which was revealed a month earlier.

While the Nissan Patrol has the “double-C” design headlights, the Infiniti QX80 has the LED daytime running lamps placed on top, with the LED headlights added separately below in the bumper.

The Nissan Patrol features the V-Motion front grille, while the QX80 gets the Piano black waterfall grille.

The QX80’s front hood design appears more wavy and rises in the middle, while the Patrol’s has straighter lines and is mostly flat.

The 2025 Nissan Patrol taillamps are vertical and continue the double C-shape theme. The new QX80 taillamps look more like an upgrade of the previous design and run across the tailgate.

The Patrol’s number plate is on the tailgate, while the QX80’s is on the bumper. The Patrol has a tow hook in the middle of the bumper.

There are more double-Cs on the side for the Patrol, with the side-vent design. Like the previous model, the QX80 follows the horizontal vent design but with sharper edges.

In the Patrol, the window after the C-pillar rises steeply. The QX80 does not do that and moves upwards just slightly.

The QX80 rear taillights extend further into the side profile as well.

The top of the dashboard for the QX80 extends more into the passenger side after the infotainment screen, while it drops more sharply in the Nissan Patrol.

The Infiniti QX80 features another touch screen at the bottom for climate control, with the vents placed separately on top of the screen. In the Patrol, the bottom has physical buttons for the AC, with the vents placed closely above the controls in the same panel.

QX80 has a more plush design for the middle compartment, with two separate covers for the storage compartment and cup holders. The Nissan Patrol features one slide cover.

While the previous generation did look different exterior-wise, it seems more effort was made to make the interiors of the two models more contrasting.

Pricing has been announced for the 2025 Nissan Patrol since its launch, with deliveries expected to start in November. The Infiniti QX80 is set to arrive in the UAE and GCC soon in the coming months.
