EXEED launches EV and hybrid line-up in UAE

EXEED has officially entered the UAE’s electric and hybrid vehicle market. The premium Chinese automotive brand, under Al Ghurair Mobility, unveiled a full range of new-energy vehicles, including fully electric and plug-in hybrid models, alongside the opening of its flagship showroom in Abu Dhabi.

Two all-electric models under the new EXLANTIX sub-brand—the EXLANTIX ET SUV and the EXLANTIX ES sedan—are leading the charge. Both vehicles feature EXEED’s proprietary Super Hybrid Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, offering a claimed driving range of over 1,000 km. Qualcomm-powered vehicle architecture is central to the tech package, promising high performance and intelligent connectivity.

The EXLANTIX ET is a premium SUV offering pure EV and REEV powertrains. It features adaptive air suspension. Performance-wise, it has a low drag coefficient of 0.266 Cd and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 4.9 seconds.

Inside, passengers get “zero gravity” seats, Arabic voice command, and a smart cockpit designed for ease of use.

The EXLANTIX ES sedan, meanwhile, is a sleeker, sportier offering. With a drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd and a 0-100 kph time of just 3.7 seconds, the ES promises high efficiency without compromising performance. A frameless door design, D-shaped steering wheel, and whisper-quiet ride round out the package.

For those not ready to go fully electric, EXEED introduced the RX Plug-in Hybrid SUV. It offers a total range of over 1,300 km.  Fuel efficiency is rated at just 1.2 L/100 km when fully charged. The RX PHEV features a 445 kW hybrid system with an 11-speed combination gearbox and a Three-Speed Super Hybrid Transmission.

Safety is reinforced with a CATL battery that includes real-time diagnostics and rapid power cut-off in case of collision. The system is engineered to perform in temperatures ranging from -35°C to 60°C, making it suitable for the Gulf climate.

In tandem with the vehicle launch, EXEED opened its first dedicated EV showroom on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche Street. The flagship facility includes interactive digital advisors, branded merchandise, and futuristic design elements to showcase the brand’s new energy ambitions.

Oscar Rivoli, CEO of Al Ghurair Motors, commented: “This launch is about more than just new models. It’s about EXEED defining the future of electric mobility in the region. With our full EV and hybrid line-up and the UAE’s first dedicated EXEED EV showroom, we’re taking a major step forward in delivering intelligent, high-performance electric vehicles.”
