2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV debuts in the Middle East with 513km range

Chevrolet Middle East is charging ahead with its EV rollout, with the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV set to arrive in showrooms this summer. As the brand’s first fully electric version of the popular compact SUV, the Equinox EV aims to bring zero-emissions motoring to a wider audience without compromising everyday practicality.

RS trim

Available in RS trim, the Equinox EV stands out with an aggressive yet sleek design that blends sporty elements with premium touches. Exterior highlights include 21-inch black alloy wheels, a two-tone black roof, flush door handles, and animated lighting elements.

The cabin features Black and Adrenaline Red interiors with multi-colour ambient lighting, giving the five-seater SUV a sporty, high-tech feel. There’s also up to 844 litres of cargo space with the rear seats folded, making it practical for both daily drives and weekend trips.

Tech and Connectivity

At the centre of the interior is a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, paired with an 11-inch digital driver display. The Equinox EV features a hands-free start system—no button pushing required to get moving. Connectivity is built-in, with Google integration, Voice Assistant, Google Maps, and access to the Play Store.

Chevrolet is offering three years of OnStar Connected Services as standard, including safety features and app connectivity via the myChevrolet app, which allows remote vehicle monitoring, pre-conditioning, and finding nearby chargers.

Safety and driver assistance

The Equinox EV comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and more. Available features include Adaptive Cruise Control and HD Surround Vision, rounding out the suite of driver aids.

Chevrolet Equinox EV Electric performance and efficiency

Powering the front wheels is an electric motor producing 213 hp and 320 Nm of torque, offering smooth, responsive acceleration. Drivers can take advantage of One-Pedal Driving and Regen on Demand for enhanced efficiency and control.

Chevrolet claims an EPA-estimated range of up to 513 km on a full charge, making it one of the longer-range EVs in its class.
