BMW M4 Nürburgring Edition debuts exclusively for China market
BMW M is marking over 25 years of collaboration with Germany’s iconic Nürburgring with a special limited-run model—the BMW M4 Nürburgring Edition launched at the 2025 Shanghai Motor Show. Built exclusively for China, only 53 units will be made, commemorating BMW M GmbH’s 53rd anniversary.
Based on the BMW M4 Competition with M xDrive, the special edition retains the familiar 3.0-litre inline-six engine with M TwinPower Turbo, producing 530 hp.
Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, enabling a 0–100 kph time of 3.5 seconds, or 3.2 seconds using the “1-foot rollout” method — impressive figures backed by development time on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
Visually, the M4 Edition Nürburgring stands out with a unique “Frozen Deep Green” metallic paint from BMW Individual, a reference to the track’s “Green Hell” nickname.
The frameless kidney grille gets a bold red outline, while the headrests are embroidered with the Nürburgring Nordschleife logo in the same red accent.
Additional exclusive touches include “nürburgring 1/53” lettering on the door sills, identifying each model as part of this limited series.
The edition blends BMW’s racetrack heritage with premium custom design aimed at collectors and enthusiasts alike.
While this M4 Edition won’t be making its way to the UAE or other global markets, it adds to BMW’s growing list of market-specific M special editions.
