ROX Motors delivers electric police vehicles to Ras Al Khaimah Police

ROX Motors, the UAE dealer for the EV brand behind the popular ROX 01 SUV, has officially delivered some vehicles to the Ras Al Khaimah Police.

In a new initiative to modernise patrol fleets with sustainable technology, ROX Motors has provided fully electric versions of the ROX 01 to the Ras Al Khaimah Police Department. The vehicles were handed over at a formal ceremony attended by police officials and ROX Motors representatives.

The ROX 01, which debuted last year in the UAE, is an electric SUV with a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that extends its range. This gives the ROX 01 a combined range of more than 1,100 km. The engine produces a maximum power of 470 hp and a maximum torque of 740 Nm, helping the ROX 01 move from 0 to 100 kph in 5.5 seconds.

The RAK police-spec models have been equipped with custom lighting, communication systems, and official red and white livery suited for patrol and emergency response duties.

This partnership marks one of the first EV deployments for police use in the emirate, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to green mobility and energy efficiency in public service fleets.
