Nissan Patrol NISMO gets 495 HP, Z NISMO launched
Nissan unveiled the most powerful Nissan Patrol NISMO to date alongside the regional debut of the latest Nissan Z NISMO.
The headline act was undoubtedly the all-new Patrol NISMO, now boasting a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 churning out 495 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque in Sport mode. That’s a 70 hp bump over the standard Patrol, aimed squarely at regional buyers who demand both performance and presence. The NISMO-tuned suspension, enhanced aerodynamics, and motorsport-inspired visuals elevate the Patrol’s on-road performance capabilities.
Design tweaks include a bold rear spoiler, red-accented bodywork, Formula-E-style rear fog lamp, and massive 22-inch forged alloy wheels developed in collaboration with RAYS. The interior receives NISMO-specific finishing touches, including unique upholstery and track-inspired detailing, blending comfort with aggressive style.

Making its first appearance in the Middle East, the Nissan Z NISMO continues the legacy of Nissan’s iconic sports car lineup. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 tuned to deliver 420 hp and 520 Nm, it brings sharper handling and upgraded aerodynamics inspired by the GT-R. Reinforced chassis components, stiffer suspension, and a more aggressive body kit — including a three-piece rear spoiler and elongated front fascia — make the Z NISMO a more focused driving machine.

In typical NISMO fashion, both models wear the signature red accents and the bold NISMO badge with its distinctive “O”, symbolising Nissan’s philosophy of bringing motorsport engineering to the road. The vehicles also serve as ambassadors for the newly unveiled Red Ring Society, a community initiative for NISMO owners and enthusiasts across the region.
Speaking at the event, Thierry Sabbagh, President of Nissan Middle East, said: “The launch of these two new NISMO models is more than just a product reveal – it’s a celebration of Nissan’s racing heritage and a reflection of the region’s enthusiasm for performance vehicles.”
Satoshi Komiya, Chief Vehicle Engineer for the Patrol NISMO, noted that both vehicles were explicitly tailored to regional preferences, striking a balance between raw power, everyday usability, and emotional appeal.
The Patrol NISMO is now available across Nissan’s partner network in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC markets. The new Nissan Z NISMO is available in the UAE, with wider regional availability to follow soon.
The 2025 Nissan Patrol NISMO prices in the UAE start from AED 449,900.

Mash,
I’m begging the thirsty old generation 5.6 V8 is finally done with with, since EPA clamped down on the poorly driven, low mpg gas-powered trucklets! This New NISMO is even bigger than the last one. It looks shorter, (possibly lower ground clearance) and the 4wd could be actually be of better use now, (thanks to reduced drag coefficient!)
AbuDhabi is the place where you could spot these Higher end PATROL’s while surfing through Globe Mall or at the Villagio in Qatar! #NISMO #PATROL #AbuDhabiAutoSHOW #AdNOC #driveforlyf

The Y62 V8 has great performance on the road and off it. While fuel economy is kind of okay on highways, they are quite thirsty in the city.
