2026 Ford Territory revealed with new look, more tech, and hybrid on the way

Ford has officially unveiled the updated 2026 Ford Territory, bringing a new design, smarter tech, and improved comfort to one of its most popular compact SUVs. Set to continue its success across the Middle East and other global markets, the Territory retains its proven 1.8-litre EcoBoost engine while preparing to add a hybrid option in the near future.

Ford Territory upgraded look

The 2026 Territory features a sharper front-end design, including a new bumper, redesigned grille, and full LED lighting front and rear. New 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels (depending on trim) and fresh exterior colours have been added as well.

Inside, the Territory gets improvements such as wider headrests and added seat padding to improve comfort. Fast-charging USB and Type-C ports are now available for both front and rear passengers.

Cargo space remains the same with 448 litres of boot space, expandable to 1,422 litres with the rear seats folded. 

Engine specs – and hybrid coming soon

Under the bonnet, the familiar 1.8L turbocharged EcoBoost engine continues, producing 188 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Ford has confirmed that a hybrid variant of the Territory will be introduced to the region soon, broadening the SUV’s appeal to eco-conscious buyers looking for an electrified option without compromising space or usability.

Upgraded tech and connectivity

One of the standout changes for 2026 is the updated infotainment setup. The Territory now comes with a dual 12.3-inch display system – one for the driver’s instrument cluster and one as the central touchscreen. The interface supports both full-screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a split-screen mode that shows climate controls on a sleek lower strip.

Also new is FordPass™ connectivity, allowing owners to use their smartphone to remotely lock/unlock the vehicle, start the engine, check fuel levels, and even receive vehicle health alerts.

• Lane Keeping Assist

• Lane Centering Control (new for 2026)

• Adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert (depending on trim)
