2026 Chevrolet Groove revealed with new look, more tech and turbo power

Chevrolet has pulled the wraps off the all-new 2026 Chevrolet Groove, bringing a major design overhaul, upgraded technology, and more power to the brand’s entry-level SUV in the Middle East. With over 90% of its buyers being first-time Chevrolet owners, the Groove plays a key role in expanding the brand’s reach among younger drivers.

Sportier exterior

For 2026, the Groove arrives with a redesigned front fascia, updated bumpers, a new grille design, and a sportier overall stance across both trims – LT and RS. The RS variant stands out with a two-tone roof, black accents, and unique wheels that give it a more athletic, youthful edge.

Customers can choose from six new exterior colours. Inside, the LT features grey cloth upholstery, while the RS comes with black leatherette seats and red stitching.

Interior

Inside, the Groove offers a practical five-seat layout with improved rear legroom and 60/40 split-folding rear seats that expand the cargo space to 1,120 litres.

Chevrolet Groove Turbocharged engine

Under the hood, the new Groove is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, producing 145 hp and 255 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive.

Tech upgrades and connectivity

Both LT and RS trims now come standard with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The RS trim also gets a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, compared to the 3.5-inch version on the LT, providing a more modern and engaging driving interface.
