2026 OMODA C7 SUV debut confirmed for UAE

OMODA & JAECOO, one of the fastest-growing global smart mobility brands, has confirmed that the all-new OMODA C7 SUV is set to launch soon in the UAE. Aimed squarely at “tech-savvy buyers in hot-weather markets”, the futuristic-looking SUV combines advanced hybrid powertrains with proven high-temperature endurance.

OMODA C7 built for the heat

The OMODA C7 has already made headlines for its heat-resistance credentials. Tested in Turpan, China — one of the world’s hottest places — surface temperatures during trials reached 76°C. In one interior test, the cabin was allowed to reach 62°C before the new A/C system cooled it to 28.3°C in just 15 minutes. These results make the C7 particularly relevant to Gulf drivers enduring long summers and desert heat.

Design and tech-forward cabin

The OMODA C7 features a modern exterior design, having recently earned top spot at the French Design Awards. Signature details include rhythmic lighting patterns and a standout 15.6-inch “star-track” sliding infotainment screen — a class-first feature. The interior experience is focused on both comfort and tech, offering a premium cabin with active noise cancellation and a quiet ride across urban and highway settings.

OMODA C7 hybrid performance and long-range efficiency

Of particular note for the UAE launch is the C7 SHS (Super Hybrid System) variant, which combines an efficient petrol engine with electric drive assistance. It recently completed a 1,457 km “Super Hybrid Marathon” across varying terrain, including highways and city roads, highlighting both its range and versatility.

UAE launch plans

Shawn Xu, CEO of OMODA & JAECOO, said: “OMODA C7 is more than a car — it’s a next-generation lifestyle vehicle. From extreme heat endurance to award-winning aesthetics and smart functionality, it’s tailored for future-facing customers in the Middle East.”

For the UAE launch, OMODA is planning exclusive test drives, community activities, and tech-forward events to appeal to younger, connected buyers. No official prices have been confirmed yet, but further details and showroom rollout are expected in the coming weeks.
