Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi installs first-ever Manthey Kit on 911 GT3 RS in the region

In a regional first, Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain has successfully installed the high-performance Manthey Performance Kit on the latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Type 992), marking a milestone in aftermarket motorsport-grade upgrades in the UAE.

Developed by Manthey Racing in collaboration with Porsche, the Manthey Kit is a factory-approved set of enhancements aimed at boosting the track capabilities of the already hardcore GT3 RS while retaining full road legality. The installation in Abu Dhabi represents not just a technical achievement but a growing demand for serious performance upgrades in the local Porsche community.

Track-ready, street-legal performance

The Manthey Performance Kit includes a suite of aerodynamic and chassis upgrades that deliver significant improvements in downforce, cornering stability, and visual aggression. At the front, the GT3 RS features a reworked spoiler lip with a larger wing profile and carbon fibre dive planes, complemented by wheel arch Gurney flaps to enhance downforce over the front axle.

Around the back, the upgrades are even more extreme. There’s a lightweight carbon fibre rear window panel that shaves off 25% of the weight, a motorsport-style shark fin borrowed from the Le Mans-winning 963 race car, a split carbon rear wing with DRS functionality, and wider diffuser elements. Together, these elements generate over 1,000 kg of downforce at 285 km/h—figures usually reserved for full-on race cars.

Suspension and brake enhancements

The Manthey package doesn’t stop at aero tweaks. The kit also includes semi-active coil-over suspension with stiffer spring rates (30% front, 15% rear), helping the GT3 RS stay flatter through corners. Vehicles equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) benefit from upgraded racing brake pads and steel-sheathed brake lines for better pedal feel and fade resistance on track.

All installations are carried out by Porsche-certified technicians, ensuring the same level of precision and safety as any factory-built model. The performance kit is not only about raw capability—it also allows owners to visually customise their GT3 RS while still benefiting from manufacturer-backed warranty and support.
