2025 Audi Q5 makes regional debut with new design, tech and mild hybrid power

Audi Middle East has officially launched the all-new 2025 Audi Q5 lineup across the GCC, introducing the third generation of one of its most successful SUV models. Offered in two main variants – the Q5 40 TFSI and the high-performance SQ5 – both available in SUV and Sportback body styles, the new Q5 enters the market with a new redesign, next-gen tech features, and mild hybrid technology tailored for regional driving needs.

Fresh design adds greater presence

The 2025 Audi Q5 brings a sharper and more athletic look, characterised by sculpted proportions, a bolder stance, and available S line styling. Up front, the Q5 features digital LED lighting with customisable signatures, while the rear OLED tail lamps add a premium touch that also enhances visibility and safety.

Buyers can choose between two exterior design lines—Advanced and S line—while the SQ5 gets its own aggressive treatment. Wheel options range from 19-inch to 20-inch aerodynamic alloys. Audi also offers eleven exterior colour options.

New digital interior layout

Inside, the Q5 adopts Audi’s new digital-first cockpit architecture, anchored by an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch curved OLED MMI touch display. An optional 10.9-inch display for the front passenger allows co-pilots to interact with navigation and media without distracting the driver.

The cabin’s minimalist horizontal layout is paired with higher-quality materials and improved space. Boot capacity goes up to 1,473 litres with the rear seats folded down, making it practical for families, shopping trips, or weekend getaways.

Audi Q5 Safety and driver assistance

The latest Q5 generation comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance features. Standard systems include adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, parking assist, lane departure warning, and drowsiness detection. Optional features, such as Park Assist Plus, Active Front Assist, and Rear Turn Assist, further enhance daily usability and occupant safety.

A head-up display ensures essential driving information is always in view, adding to driver confidence on the move.

Audi Q5 engine and mild hybrid tech

Under the hood, the Q5 40 TFSI is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with Audi’s Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system. The mild hybrid setup helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions while improving smoothness during start/stop and coasting functions.
