2026 Geely Coolray launched in the UAE: Gets New Design & Tech

AGMC, the official distributor of Geely in the UAE, has announced the arrival of the 2026 Geely Coolray, a compact crossover SUV aimed at urban drivers seeking a combination of performance, technology and distinctive styling.

The Coolray has been one of Geely’s strongest-selling models both globally and in the UAE, and the updated version builds on that success with refreshed design elements, upgraded technology and enhanced comfort features.

Powering the 2026 Coolray is a 1.5-litre turbocharged 1.5TD engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing 174 hp.

The compact crossover is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in 7.6 seconds. Geely states that the engine has been engineered to deliver improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions while maintaining strong performance.

The new Coolray is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including intelligent cruise control, lane-keeping and lane-change assist, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, rear collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

A 540-degree panoramic camera system is also offered to enhance visibility and driver confidence. Inside the cabin, the GF+ variant features a 14.6-inch touchscreen, the largest yet for the model, as well as wireless charging.

Design updates include a sleek two-tone body option, a revised grille, a dynamic rear wing, an electronic tailgate and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior features sporty, leather-ventilated seats with electric adjustment, along with a panoramic sunroof that enhances the premium feel.

The 2026 Geely Coolray is available in six exterior colours, including the newly introduced “Silky Silver”.
