SOUEAST S08DM Plug-In Hybrid SUV Launched in the UAE

SOUEAST UAE, distributed by Elite Group Holding, has launched the all-new SOUEAST S08DM in the UAE. The seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV enters the market with a focus on combining performance, efficiency and practicality for family buyers.

The S08DM is powered by a dual-mode plug-in hybrid system producing a combined 355 hp and 530 Nm of torque. The setup delivers a claimed total driving range of up to 800 km, positioning it as a long-distance-capable electrified SUV suited to regional driving conditions.

Beyond performance, the S08DM is positioned as a cost-efficient alternative within the competitive PHEV SUV segment offering top of the line features, at a very competitive price. 

The model arrives at a time when demand for hybrid and electrified SUVs continues to grow in the UAE, particularly among buyers seeking lower fuel consumption without sacrificing performance or space. The S08DM features a three-row layout designed to accommodate seven occupants.

Inside, the SUV is equipped with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, a centre armrest refrigerator with both cooling and heating functions, and flexible seating configurations. The vehicle also comes with more than 15 driver assistance systems aimed at improving safety and driving confidence.

According to SOUEAST UAE, the S08DM expands the brand’s plug-in hybrid portfolio in the region and strengthens its presence in the midsize SUV segment.

“With the S08DM, we are expanding our PHEV portfolio in the region with a model that brings together power, efficiency and practicality in a seven-seat SUV format,” said Mr. Elie Nehme, Senior General Manager of SOUEAST UAE. “As interest in electrified mobility continues to grow across the country, this model aims to redefine the era of smart power.”

To mark the launch, SOUEAST hosted a media test drive event, allowing attendees to be the among the first in the world to experience the vehicle’s hybrid system and features firsthand. 

The special launch price for the SOUEAST S08DM starts from AED 113,500 plus VAT.

The vehicle is available at SOUEAST showrooms on Sheikh Zayed Road and in Deira (Dubai), Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Al Ain. It is also on display at Dubai Festival City Mall.
