This is the weirdly-named Brabus B63-620 WIDESTAR. It’s named like so because it is based off of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG. And it has “620” horses. And it’s very wide.
Ronny Wechselberger’s sets a new Guinness world record of 35cm for parallel-parking, in reverse naturally, using a Volkswagen Up fitted with a special handbrake. Looks easy enough.
The 2012 edition of the Sharjah Auto Show is expectedly as cosy as it’s always been, but it held a few interesting surprises this year. Held alongside the Middle East Motor Awards, almost all the top nominated cars were displayed together in one mega-display of great cars, including the McLaren MP4-12C, the Toyota 86 and the Porsche 911. Elsewhere, Mitsubishi launched two new unexpected models, the Lancer Fortis and the Mirage. Nissan displayed their entire range, including the new Altima, redesigned Urvan and the current GT-R, with Infiniti taking another section. Volkswagen brought out the new Polo Sedan as well as a lifted Amarok pickup.
The Jaguar XFR-S was revealed at the Los Angeles International Auto Show to become the British company’s most powerful sedan ever made. However a very limited number of the XFR-S will be produced by Jaguar.

Organised by Muhammed Ali Sajjad of the Sharjah Expo, it’s worth noting that General Motors, Audi and a few other carmakers didn’t win anything, which goes to show that this is probably the only “real”
There was a time when the “new” BMW-designed Mini was only available as a 3-door hatchback and a convertible. Then, just like every other premium automaker with a penchant for profits, Mini started to expand the line-up and dilute its brand equity with models like the Countryman. Now there’s a new 5-door model joining the range when the redesigned 2014 Mini arrives next year, to succeed where the Clubman failed.
Bimota, a less known Italian bike manufacturer, has revealed their all-new supercharged DB11 VLX model, at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show.
