Ferrari fans can safely say that Christmas has come early this year, with the revelation of the new Ferrari FXX K hypercar; an iteration of the LaFerrari. As the name suggests, the FXX K will be a track-car. The car was unveiled at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali in Abu Dhabi this week.
Ferrari recently revealed the limited edition F60America, to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary in North America. Only 10 will be built. And it is already sold out.
The newly-branded Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced a full-blown five-year plan for its extensive brand portfolio that includes Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and Ferrari. Some of the reshuffling sounds smart, a few baffling, and one a retraction of a previous decision regarding SRT.
The previous-generation Ferrari California, despite being the first, front mounted V8 car from the Italian stable was not the best deal in a segment headed by cars such as the Mercedes SL-Class and the Jaguar XK. However, the new facelifted California T could change that. The car is set to be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Dubai Police had their own stand at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, and had five cars on display, including a never-before-seen Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. Interestingly, Brabus also announced that they’ve built a tuned police-livery Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, dubbed the B63S-700 Widestar, although it was conspicuously absent from both the Dubai Police and the Brabus stands.
If this latest picture that has surfaced on the internet is anything to go by, Dubai Police are not done yet with their supercar fleet and are preparing to add the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Bentley Continental GT to their range.
It may be every child’s dream to drive a Ferrari. But apparently, the two kids, who have now been dubbed the “Ferrari Kids” for taming a Ferrari F430 on video in India, seem to have landed in a heap of trouble as the City Police Commissioner has ordered an official inquiry, seeking identification of the minor children who drove the car.
