2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer clearly designed for Middle East

2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer clearly designed for Middle East

Jeep’s Wagoneer is an iconic name, at least in America. Since it went the way of the Dodo in the early 90s after surviving with minor changes for three decades, Jeep aficionados have been asking for a reboot. Now Jeep has brought the name back on the tailgates of the new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The new flagship Jeeps plan to push the brand into a premium territory less explored by Jeep, and clearly targeting the U.S. market as well as the Middle East, as evidenced by the white paintjob on the earlier concept.

Fiat-Chrysler being probed over diesel emissions fraud claim

Fiat-Chrysler being probed over diesel emissions fraud claim

The infamous “Dieselgate” scandal involving Volkswagen had almost brought down the brand for using devices that cheat emissions regulations, while single-handedly bringing around the current decline in the popularity of diesel cars. And now another European manufacturer, Fiat-Chrysler Automotive, is being investigated for a similar issue and prosecutors searched the brand’s sites in Germany as a part of the investigation.

2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat, Challenger Super Stock and Charger Hellcat Redeye debut

2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat, Challenger Super Stock and Charger Hellcat Redeye debut

Dodge’s SRT division is an endless pit of absolute lunacy. The brand keeps the American formula of muscle cars alive in Dodge’s lineup, because stuffing Hellcat engines into random cars is easier than making door trim that doesn’t fall off every summer. Fiat-Chrysler has a notorious reputation when it comes to reliability and build quality. But right off the bat, we’ll be the first ones to say that we highly recommend the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger twins, and everyone who bought one after reading our reviews are very content. We’ve had our Chrysler 300 SRT for almost 3 years now. First drive: 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in Las Vegas USA

Jeep is synonymous with off-roading, and nothing epitomised that more than their Trailhawk-branded range of vehicles, which came with more offroad equipment than regular versions of the Renegade, the Compass and the Grand Cherokee. We found all three Trailhawk models to be impressive both on and off the road. Yet there was a lot of noise being made to build a Hellcat version of the Grand Cherokee SRT, offroad abilities be damned. So they did. And it gave birth to a new badge — Trackhawk. And we got to try out for a few minutes at a racetrack in the United States.

SEMA Las Vegas 2017: Photo coverage

On invitation from Jeep, we had the opportunity to check out what is quite possibly the largest annual aftermarket-equipment trade show in the world, where even a few major manufacturers such as Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Hyundai and Chevrolet make an appearance with modified cars, aside from hundreds of privately-owned tuner shops and suppliers.
