There was a time when “crossover” simply meant a vehicle that straddled two segments, like a lifted station-wagon or some such, for light-duty offroading such as gravel trails and beaches. It soon evolved into a massive segment filled with SUV-looking vehicles that were still light-duty offroaders at best. But Infiniti brings back the old formula with the Q30-based QX30. J.D. Power is well-known in the United States, offering up annual results for customer satisfaction and reliability surveys, although some say they should be taken with a pinch of salt. J.D. Power is now doing surveys in the UAE, and they’ve just released their 2018 UAE Customer Service Index (CSI) Study. And they have ranked non-luxury and luxury brands in terms of customer service.
Infiniti chose the 2017 Dubai Motor Show to debut its facelifted 2018 QX80 a couple of months ago. It wasn’t just a fluke. The Middle East is apparently the QX80’s second-largest market after the United States. No time was wasted in bringing the new model to the streets either. The Infiniti Q60 coupe may just be a Q50 sedan with two less doors, but it pushes the brand’s design language to the extreme, culminating in what is quite possibly the most stunning 4-seater coupe in the segment.
The all-new 2017 Infiniti Q60 premium sports coupe was recently launched in the UAE and GCC, with a drive event in Dubai as well as a launch event in Abu Dhabi.
Infiniti revealed the QX80 Monograph Concept at the 2017 New York Auto Show, showing off their new design direction for their Patrol-based flagship QX80 in 2018.
