Lamborghini revealed their special-edition model, the Centenario, earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. As the discussions regarding whether the BMW 8-Series will replace the 6-Series is heating up, reports indicate that the German luxury brand might be developing a new 9-series sedan. It will be based on the existing 7-series but will be longer and more opulent. The Vision Future Luxury Concept that BMW unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show is believed to be what the new sedan will be based on. If it makes into production, the 9-Series will be pitted squarely against the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
