Abu Dhabi Police and Sulayem at Khalifa University

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) teamed up with the Abu Dhabi Police, the Traffic & Licensing department and the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) to shed light on the risks of motorcycle and sport utility vehicle (SUV) risks. Kia Motors posts increase in February global sales

Kia Motors Corporation announced today its global sales figures for passenger cars (export sales, domestic sales and sales from overseas plants), recreational vehicles (RVs) and commercial vehicles for February 2010, recording a total of 143,267 units sold. This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 39.5%.

BMW Group increases sales in February

The BMW Group once again improved sales volumes substantially in February of this year. A total of 91,758 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce automobiles were delivered to customers (prev. yr. 80,474) – representing an increase of 14.0%. The figure for the year to the end of February was 173,911 units – 15.3% higher than the previous year (150,893).

Royal Drive 2010 joined by SCC Ultimate Aero

It would seem that Mercedes-Benz engineers are either perennially restless, or they could never make up their minds. In the earlier half of this decade, the Mercedes-Benz S 55 AMG was content with an overpowering 5.5-litre supercharged V8. Then the German firm decided to replace that with a 6.21-litre naturally-aspirated V8, fitting the motor in, among others, the S 63 AMG. And now, they’ve decided to replace that excellent motor with a new 5.5-litre turbocharged V8, although the car will still be badged an S 63 AMG.
