Ferrari GTC4 Lusso readied for Geneva debut

Since its launch in the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari FF stayed the fastest four-seater car in the world, till now. This first four-wheel-drive Ferrari is now officially declared to be replaced by a new machine from the Ferrari stable, the GTC4 Lusso. The name of the new model traces back to the older Ferrari models, the 330GTC and the 250GT Berliners Berlinetta Lusso.

First drive: 2017 Kia Sportage in the UAE

Kia credits themselves with being the inventor of the crossover SUV, a title that is usually usurped by Toyota. The truth is Kia’s Sportage came out a full year before the first-gen RAV4. However, it was conceived back before Kia merged with Hyundai, and therefore the Sportage was better-known for 1-star crash test ratings and recalls for wheels falling off while driving. Somehow, it still managed to have a fan following over its decade of existence. Fast-forward a couple of decades, and the recent Sportage does 5-star crash ratings and among the top sellers in its segment. Now that’s an impressive transformation.

When we went on a VW-sponsored trip to the 2016 Qatar Motor Show last week, we sat down with Thomas Milz, head of Volkswagen Middle East, for a casual chat on how the company is doing in the Middle East. We were there to witness the VW Tiguan‘s regional launch and, having seen it before in Frankfurt and Detroit already, we continue to be impressed by just looking at it. Milz expects the Tiguan to become a huge success in the GCC, but we asked him what model was currently their biggest seller in the Middle East.
