Celebrating the start of a certain event called the “FIFA Club World Cup UAE presented by TOYOTA,” the sponsoring Japanese manufacturer has dressed up seven Toyota Yaris hatchbacks in the competing clubs’ colours.

The teams are Pohang Steelers FC of the Republic of Korea (AFC), TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo (CAF), Atlante FC of Mexico (CONCACAF), Estudiantes de La Plata of Argentina (CONMEBOL), Auckland City FC of New Zealand (OFC), FC FC Barcelona of Spain (UEFA), and Al Ahli FCD of the UAE (UFL), as the qualifying team from the host country.

All seven vehicles will be on display throughout the tournament that will take place at Abu Dhabi’s two biggest stadiums, Zayed Sports City and Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium. The first game due to take place on December 9 will see local UAE team Al Ahli FCD up against Auckland City FC.

The cars will likely be on sale later. For prices and specs, visit the Toyota Yaris buyer guide.

  1. wonder where toyota got the idea, oddly enough topgear had done a car football (bumper ball) match and colored some toyota aygos in stripes too, now thats a good idea for the next drive arabia meet 😉

  2. Now we will see Yaris instead of Patrols when Ahli wins the match … (Once in a blue Moon)

  3. nice cars..
actually i saw one of them “the white with the red strips”
    in festival dealer

i noticed that they were done in some garages in sharjah becasue the strips were not fixed properly..you can find that the surface is not smooth “alot of ups and downs”, also at the edges you will find some of the cuts are gone..which means cheap material…
    its nothing new rom alfuttaim
if he was able to sell a SPORTS prado…then for sure he will be able to sell this hehe
