Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 revealed in Geneva Motor Show

The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Apparently named after a courageous bull, the light weight and new engine of the all-wheel drive Aventador will be more powerful and fuel-efficient than the Murcielago, the model its replacing.

The new engine is a high-revving 6.5 litre V12 which produces a massive 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque. Lamborghini claims its enough for it to reach 0-100 kph in just 2.9 seconds and keep pushing it, it will go all the way to 350 kph. Fuel-efficiently is down 20 percent from the Murcielago, helped by the 7-speed transmission. Lamborghini claims it to be the ”fastest robotized gearbox”, whatever that means.

Continuing from the Murcielago to the Aventador will be the upward opening doors and also you get the option of a transparent engine bonnet, if you want to show off the heart of the bull.

The Lamborghini Aventador should be in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries by the end of this year.

Keep track of prices and updates at the Lamborghini buyer guide.

  1. Screaming with power.

Getting more Audi style in the inside. Look at the Sat. Nav. controller and the bottons surrounding it.

  2. :O
    want one! =)

  3. WoW

Now that’s how you design ferrari!! not like Ferrari Four..

but doesn’t it look almost identical to Lamborghini Reventon?

Has anyone seen Reventon on roads of the UAE??

  4. Nice aggressive Italian design.. Looks very original and pays homage to classical lamborghini styling yet super modern.. Very well balanced design..
