2017 Porsche Panamera officially revealed
The all-new 2017 Porsche Panamera was officially revealed, getting more power as well than the previous generation. Currently only three variants has been made available – the 4S, Turbo and 4S Diesel.
The Panamera 4S now gets a turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 which procudes 434 hp and 550 Nm of torque. With the Sport Chrono package, it can sprint from 0-100 kph in 4.2 seconds. The Panamera Turbo gets a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8, good enough to make 542 hp and 770 Nm of torque. This goes from 0-100 kph in just 3.6 seconds. There is the Panemera 4S turbodiesel as well, which has a power rating of 416 hp and 850 Nm of torque. With the Sport Chrono option, it can go from 0-100 kph in 4.3 seconds.
Some more updates include a new, improved adaptive air suspension system and optional rear-axle steering. Inside, the interior gets a new instrument cluster with two 7-inch displays. The centre console gets a 12.3-inch touch screen, while the rear passenger get their own set of infotainment and climate controls.
The 2017 Porsche Panamera is already available to order in the GCC. Expect to spot a few on the roads of UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar early next year.
