2025 MG ZS debuts in the UAE & GCC with more tech, turbo engine option

MG Motor has introduced the all-new MG ZS in the GCC, bringing a fresh design, updated technology, and more powerful engine options to its popular compact SUV lineup. The latest model aims to attract urban drivers looking for a mix of practicality, style, and modern features.

The 2025 MG ZS is available with two engine choices. The base model comes with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 112 hp, while the turbocharged 1.3-litre version boosts output to 168 hp for those seeking extra performance. Drivers can also switch between three selectable drive modes to suit different road conditions.

The new MG ZS features a redesigned front fascia with a wide grille and ‘Hunter-Eye’ LED headlights, giving it a more aggressive look. The streamlined profile is complemented by sculpted body lines, a rear spoiler, and LED taillights. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, adding to its sporty presence.

Inside, the cabin gets a more premium feel with a “jet-wing-style” dashboard, an ergonomically sculpted steering wheel, and options for fabric or leather seats. A panoramic sunroof enhances the sense of space, while the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Speed Assist, and Hill Start Assist. A 360-degree camera and parking sensors help with tight parking situations.

MG has priced the 2025 ZS from AED 54,000 in the UAE and SAR 55,500 in Saudi Arabia, excluding taxes. It is now available at MG showrooms across the GCC.
