Dongfeng 007 Electric SUV UAE Debut with 1,200 km Range

MAHY Khoory Automotive, the official distributor of Dongfeng Motor Corporation in the UAE, unveiled the new Dongfeng 007 electric SUV at EVIS Abu Dhabi 2025. The region’s leading electric vehicle innovation summit took place from April 21 to 23 at the ADNEC Centre.

Dongfeng 007 EREV Specs

The Dongfeng 007 caught people’s attention with its futuristic design and a claimed driving range of up to 1,200 km on a single charge — placing it among the longest-range EVs introduced to the UAE market. Equipped with a 160 kW electric motor delivering 310 Nm of torque, the SUV aimed to blend strong performance with sustainable mobility.

The model is an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and comes with a battery pack of 28.39 kWh capacity, using a 1.5-litre engine.

Interior features

Dongfeng 007 is packed with premium features, including the “PILOT” advanced driving assistance system, facial recognition for door unlocking, a 20-speaker sound system, and a 64-colour ambient lighting system. The EV also gets a folding instrument cluster similar to something like the McLaren 720S.

Exterior design

The vehicle featured sharp styling elements, including clean body lines, flush door handles, and a tech-focused interior. 

The 007 is a mid-size sedan with dimensions of 4,880 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,915 mm. It has a wind resistance coefficient of 0.209 Cd.

Alignment with UAE’s clean energy goals

While official UAE specs and pricing were not confirmed at the time of the reveal, attendees at EVIS 2025 had the opportunity to see the vehicle up close and explore its features.
