Chevrolet shows off its 2017 Redline models

Chevrolet showcased their Redline trim at the 2015 SEMA car show which received good feedback from the audience. So at the 2017 Chicago Motor Show, Chevrolet lined up a few of their Redline trimmed models going into production. The Redline trim will be available on the Cruze LT (sedan and hatch) Malibu LT, Camaro LT and SS, Trax LT, Equinox LT, Traverse Premier, Colorado LT, Silverado Double Cab LTZ71 and Silverado Crew Cab LTZ71. The Silverado will make it first to the market while the rest will follow by the end of 2017.

Opel Grandland X debuts, coming to UAE

After the acquisition by PSA, Opel released the all-new Crossland X a few months ago at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, although clearly it was in development long before the French takeover. The Crossland X is a small crossover based on the Peugeot 2008. Opel has now taken the Peugeot 3008 as a stencil to create a bigger version called the Grandland X.

Italdesign’s new supercar brand Italdesign Automobili Speciali has shown off their new creation, the Zerouno at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The Italian company has given the Lamborghini Huracan a fancier carbon-fibre cloak but it’s more than just a modified car. And the best part is, this isn’t a one-off destined to grace just the show stand but a production model. Italdesign plans to sell five of these machines.

Toyota FT-4X concept hints at mini FJ Cruiser replacement

As the fate of the much-loved FJ Cruiser is sealed, Toyota’s lineup required a funky SUV to fill its shoes in when it’s gone (possibly in 2018). A very likely candidate for that job is being displayed in concept guise at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The Toyota FT-4X takes its design inspiration from the FJ Cruiser as well as the original Land Cruiser and then blends it with contemporary elements. However, it is a much smaller crossover!
