Rolls-Royce Phantom production ending, coupe retired

Rolls-Royce has announced that the current Phantom will end production by November of this year. This announcement follows the recent news that Rolls-Royce has begun testing its all-new aluminium architecture, which will underpin every future Rolls-Royce arriving from early 2018. However, while there will be a new flagship sedan coming later, the Phantom Coupé and Drophead Coupé models will not be replaced in the future. These two Phantom models will end their lives with a special collection of only 50 limited-edition cars to be called Phantom Zenith.

The French car maker, Peugeot has taken the wraps off their new 2008 SUV which is planned to be released at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The 2017 2008 have received a multifaceted grill which flaunts a perpendicular style. The headlamps, roof, roof rails, rear spoiler and rear doors are subjected to little tweaking as well. The addition of scuff plates to protect the bodywork acts as a highlight.

I was a little nervous about ordering a car I’d never seen in person especially since I had seen the meek-looking normal 1-Series at the dealership and it didn’t fill me with a lot of confidence. Any doubts I had were dispelled as soon as I laid eyes on my car at the dealership upon its arrival. With the M Sport kit, the M135i looks far more aggressive and purposeful than the vanilla 1 series. The M Sport front bumper especially adds a lot of presence (and a bit of menace) to the car. The other day we were reminiscing about the first time we drove the Bentley Continental GT. It was the Speed variant, and the year was 2008. The GT had already been around for four years at that point, and the Speed was recently launched as a flagship model to keep the line fresh. We took it straight to Jebel Hafeet for our first ever run on that mountain, close to midnight, and it proved to be an amazing car.
