With Formula One fever currently gripping the UAE as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is taking place at the Yas Marina Circuit, EMC technology and the Lotus F1 recently released this insane stunt video involving a semi-truck and an F1 car. The stunt also broke the world record for the longest jump in a truck, at 83 feet and 7 inches, or about 25.5 metres.

Luxgen, Taiwan’s own automotive brand, has finally arrived in the UAE. Better known for building Toyota Corollas in Taiwan on a contract basis, we last encountered Luxgen here in 2010 when we had a chat with the CEO about their Middle East plans. During that event, we even got to hit the track in between races, with a street-legal Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, the car on which the racing series is built.
When our editor asked me if I wanted to attend a Roll Royce drive event, I didn’t think twice. And I didn’t even bother to ask which Rolls Royce I was getting to drive. Turns out the event was to introduce us to the newest member of the Rolls Royce family, the Wraith.
