If you’re one of those disappointed millionaires who are not fond of the Bentley Continental GT Convertible’s design, fret not, Bentley’s got your back. Mulliner, the oldest coachbuilder in the world, will produce the 2020 Bentley Bacalar, a limited open-top Grand Tourer with 650 hp.
Following in the footsteps of the new Continental GT coupe and droptop from 2017 and 2018 respectively, Bentley has taken the covers off their 4-door sibling, the 2020 Bentley Flying Spur. Just like all Bentley generation changes, this too is a spot-the-difference game but with more differences to spot.

After more than a decade with just mild updates, an all-new Bentley Continental GT is upon us. We don’t mean to sound snooty, but we had driven different variations of the old model so many times (and Bentley was generous with new test cars annually) that at some point, we just stopped taking them because we couldn’t find much new to write about them. Yep, we said no to Bentleys. It was an excellent car, and we almost bought one for our long-term fleet years ago, but it felt like we had enough of it already. The new one changes all that with one major redesign.
The Bentley Bentayga lineup, hot after the debut of the cheaper V8 model, now gets the Bentayga Plug-in Hybrid model and it was revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. But Bentley has not released details about the output, battery capacity or the range of the new Hybrid.
When Bentley’s first SUV, the Bentayga, was introduced more than two years ago, it came only with a W12 engine. A V8 diesel was added later to the lineup which opened the floodgates to many controversial debates. Now Bentley has chosen another V8 to power the Bentayga, this time it’s a petrol.
Bentley chose to sit out the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show and used their Dubai showroom to announce that they will be building only 19 examples of the Mulsanne-based Grand Convertible.
