Cadillac revealed details surrounding the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V — the industry’s most powerful full-size SUV, which has to arrive in the Middle East. With an elevation of design, performance and technology, the first-ever Cadillac V-Series SUV is the purest expression of the passion that exists at the core of Cadillac.
Recalls from the newest manufacturers, a recall that fixes a problem with just a sticker, and more. Here is the list of all the recalls that were announced in October.
Cadillac has been shaking up their performance line-up. It’s all about the badges at the back of the car. After The ATS was rebranded as the CT4, the Cadillac CT4-V was downgraded to an entry-level sports sedan, placing it among the BMW M Sport, Audi S-whatever and second-tier Mercedes-AMG “43” or “45” models. That’s because GM had plans to introduce the Blackwing version within the V-Series line-up. The CT4-V Blackwing takes the battle to the BMW M and top-tier Mercedes-AMG models, and it literally has a black wing to boot.
Cadillac Celestiq has been in the news for a while. The futuristic-looking luxury EV in its show car form is familiar to many. Cadillac now shows off the production version of the large EV, and it is pretty impressive on paper.
EV recalls are here to stay. This is no surprise as EVs are growing in popularity across the world. The last month’s recall includes several of these, just like May 2022. Let us dig into these as well as other recall news.
High-performance SUVs defy physics and logic. Big bulky SUVs are not made to go fast but that has not stopped car makers from plonking in some bangers under their hood. Especially when people buy them without a second thought. Cadillac has now taken interest in this trend and enters the ring with maybe the most bonkers of them all, the 682 hp Cadillac Escalade-V, and the extended Cadillac Escalade ESV.
General Motors announced 13 new Electric Vehicles will be launched in the Middle East by 2025, starting with the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, GMC Hummer EV and Cadillac LYRIQ. All three models were showcased at GM’s Exhibit Zero Arabia event recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Cadillac Lyriq came out of the covers last year as a concept that captured a lot of attention as the luxury brand’s first electric vehicle. A year in, Cadillac shows off the 2023 Lyriq in its production form which keeps almost all the glitter of the concept.
The all-new Cadillac CT5 directly competes with cars such as the compact BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In CT5-V form seen here, the V version has now been repositioned as an entry-level performance model, with a future Blackwing model taking the fight to the BMW M3 and the Mercedes-AMG C 63. However, this car is an entertainer in its own right.
