If you’re eagerly awaiting the release of Transformers 3, don’t fret because it is still being filmed, and here is a glimpse of the action, even if unplanned. While filming in Washington D.C., a real Chevrolet Suburban police vehicle was responding to an emergency and cut across the set to save time. The “Bumblebee” Chevrolet Camaro collided with the Suburban, but there were no serious injuries. The Camaro was quickly covered up and moved away.

You know that all those years of being a good boy is paying off when people suddenly call up to offer you a black 2010 Chevy Camaro SS for the weekend. With an LS3 V8. And a manual transmission. For a second round. The manual SS is initially hard to drive, but having just about mastered the clutch-gearbox combo the last time, we figured we’d do something different this time around. We’ll do the first-ever fuel economy test for this car, while still driving in regular traffic at regular speeds.

The General’s good men sprung a surprise on me this weekend when they offered me a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS for a test-drive, after a last-minute cancellation by some other hack. The bigger surprise came when the car was home-delivered, because when I stepped in, it had three pedals. Indeed it was the manual Camaro SS with the 426 hp 6.2-litre V8. Rarely do I get overexcited about cars nowadays, but…AAWOOOGAAA!!!

A CGI amateur from Azerbaijan went ahead and created this elaborate computer-generated randomness of a video, featuring a Chevy Camaro, a modded Ford Mustang, a Russian VAZ and our all-time favourite 4×4, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. An Apache attack helicopter shows up in it too. While not exactly realistic, it could be inspiration for budding film makers, if you have the patience to sit through 4 months of rendering time to create 5 minutes of footage.
