The Auto Feria Popular 2010 (Auto Fair Popular 2010) was held from December 2 to 5 hosted by Banco Popular Dominicano at Torre De Popular in Dominican Republic. بعد مرور عشرة أشهر على تقديمه العالمي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، برهن نيسان “باترول” Patrol طراز 2010 أنه يستحق لقب “بطل الدروب” Hero of all Terrain عن جدارة. فقد أعلنت العربية للسيارات مؤخراً أن استجابة العملاء للسيارة في الإمارات كان إيجابياً للغاية، بحيث تخطت مبيعات باترول توقعات الشركة. وقد استعرض كارلوس غصن، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة مركبات نيسان المحدودة، الجيل السابع من باترول في شهر فبراير المنصرم على مضمار اختبارات في دبي جرى تشييده خصيصاً لهذا الغرض. ويتألق باترول بتصميم جديد ومحركين جديدين وقويين من ثماني أسطوانات على شكل “V”، بالإضافة إلى نظام تعليق جديد وعلبة تروس أوتوماتيكية من سبعة تروس.

وفي تعليق له على النجاح الذي يشهده طراز باترول الجديد، قال ميشال عيّاط، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة العربية للسيارات: “لباترول تاريخ عريق في المنطقة، وتتألق دولة الإمارات كونها أكبر سوق للسيارة في الخليج، وبدأنا بيع طراز باترول الحالي في شهر إبريل 2010، وفي غضون الثمانية الشهور الأولى تجاوزت المبيعات عتبة 2000 سيارة.
