I was told that “she” was the last model for the year 2008 left for sale in the entire UAE when I walked into the showroom late September that year. We never drove the first generation of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe, a car that seems to be overshadowed by the Toyota 86 nowadays. But we did drive the 2013 version, which is essentially the same car, with a new front-end, new tail lamps and a new interior. And even though it still has the same engine as before, it is one hell of a car.

Throw in the fact that for the price for a brand-new basic Toyota Camry, you can buy a brand-new top-of-the-range Mitsubishi Galant V6, and this starts to make even more sense.
