The last time we did a muscle-car comparo back in 2011, the Mustang still had the suspension of a bullock cart, the Camaro was a heavy tank with slit windows, and the Challenger was the size of the Titanic. Fast-forward to 2017, and the Mustang has now become a refined tea-sipping aristocrat; the Camaro is a lighter, smaller car with even slittier windows; and the Challenger is still the size of the Titanic, except with better everything under the skin. Time for another comparo then. Which is the best muscle car available today?

GCC car sales down 30% in 2017, compared to already-bad 2016

A new report claims that first-quarter new-car sales in the GCC for 2017 are down by 30% compared to the same period in 2016. And new-car sales in 2016 overall were already down by around 27% compared to 2015.

France broke the internet last weekend when their current government announced their plan to ban all petrol and diesel cars by 2040. Now Norway is supposedly announcing that they will carry out a similar ban by 2025.

Our Toyota FJ Cruiser is running trouble-free, as we expected it to do. We even took it off-road, where it did phenomenally well (despite the confused thumb gestures by our offroad monkey Vivek “Payero” Menon in the photo above). But it’s currently facing a minor (or major, depending on how you look at it) concerning the exterior trim.
