2018 Bentley Grand Convertible by Mulliner debuts in Dubai
Bentley chose to sit out the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show and used their Dubai showroom to announce that they will be building only 19 examples of the Mulsanne-based Grand Convertible.
Previously only shown as a concept, it will be built to order by Bentley’s customisation division Mulliner. Featuring a wide variety of cabin trim and paint choices, as well as choices in grille and wheel designs, each Grand Convertible by Mulliner is expected to be fully unique.
The Grand Convertible will be powered by the usual 530 hp 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 with 1100 Nm of torque.
The first car is ready for delivery to a customer already.
Mulliner had also previously created a one-off Grand Limousine for a customer back in 2015, which was curiously on display at the event as well, as an example of the level of customisation possible from the factory itself.
Pricing for the Grand Convertible is said to be US$ 3.5 million.
