VW Golf Sportsvan 2018 refreshed for Frankfurt debut

Volkswagen introduced an updated version of their Golf’s practical alter ego, the Golf Sportsvan at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The rest of the Golf range was given a mid-cycle refresh in the last November but the Sportsvan had to wait for a while to get its face done. This minivan adds more room to the Golf package thanks to its taller roof and longer body.

2018 Opel Insignia GSi revealed

Just a couple of days after teasing us with the resurrected GSi badge, Opel has released the first car that adorns the new performance moniker. The GSi badge makes a comeback on the new Insignia GSi, as a warm version of the standard 5-door Insignia Grand Sport. The new Insignia GSi will also spawn a couple of other cars namely, the 2018 Buick Regal GS and 2018 Holden Commodore VXR, which will cater for the American and Australian markets respectively.

The Hummer H1 was a mighty brute that offered the ruggedness of the military-spec Humvee to the general public. Though the Hummer brand was made mainstream by later-owners GM with the Hummer H2 and the smaller H3 that followed it, the H1 always retained that cult status. Hummer as a brand was shut down by GM during the last financial crisis. But now, 11 years after its demise, the H1 has been resurrected. Sort of.
