Ferrari has broken tradition and made their first ever four-wheel-drive “thing”, the FF, short for Ferrari Four. Or it could stand for Ferrari Ferrari Four. Or it could mean Ferrari Front-engine Front-wheel-drive, as per the common meaning of the “FF” term. One thing is for sure, and that is it will replace the stunning 612 Scaglietti. The 2012 Ferrari FF will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
It’s a busy world. People are in a race with time to be as ahead as possible in every aspect they can think of. The Mini Paceman concept, essentially a Countryman crossover with two fewer doors, was displayed at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show as Mini’s answer to the three-door Range Rover Evoque. And it has already been approved for production.

Due for public debut at the current 2011 Detroit Auto Show, Volkswagen has officially announced that their “New Midsize Sedan” project will still be known as the Passat in North America. That means there are now two variations of the Passat, one a facelifted version of the old one in Europe, and the other is this up-sized one. Word is this larger one will come to the GCC.

The new Mini has looked pretty much the same since its debut as a lifestyle car sometime in late 2001. There was a major refresh in 2007, with a facelift and new engines. We drove all the body variants since then, including the Cooper S hatchback, the Cooper S convertible and the Clubman S. Then the next big change came in 2010, with a switch to a turbocharged 1.6-litre with a smidge more power for the Cooper S. That engine also made it into the “Mayfair” special edition. We’ll now see what makes it so special.
