The Association of German Car Tuners, as illegal as it may sound, has unveiled their latest concept car creation for their “TUNE IT! SAFE!” initiative, designed by BMW tuners AC Schnitzer. The 1-Series diesel coupe police car is intended to promote safe tuning, as opposed to the outright banning of modified cars, like in some countries.

The outgoing BMW 5-Series has been out of production for several months now, so it comes as no surprise that the all-new BMW 5-Series is ready to hit the roads as a 2010 model, or 2011 as some may call it. Based on a shortened version of the new 7-Series platform, the 5-Series is longer than before, and comes with more space than the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class, mated with engines that debuted in the hideous 5-Series Gran Turismo wagon earlier this year.

A guy named Any House from Texas just proved it on video, claiming he was hit by an invisible pelican, forcing him to plow his car into a salt-water lake. However, the story only gets murkier from there, as the man happens to own a car restoration business that fixes and sells accident-damaged supercars. Also, listen to the conversation on the video, which sounds a bit too staged. If it is an insurance scam, these have to be the dumbest people to carry it out.
