Honda Middle East launched the new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour in the GCC, debuting during a press event at the Atlantis hotel in Dubai. The American-built Accord Crosstour will be available in only one V6 trim level in the UAE, and “combines the sophisticated refinement of a premium sedan with versatile characteristics of an SUV to create an entirely distinct concept within the crossover segment.” Indeed.
We took our first ever 2010 long-term car on a trip from Dubai to Ras-Al-Khaimah, partly as an excuse to test the highway behaviour of the Chevrolet Malibu LTZ on a long drive, and partly to meet our resident desert-safari-driving friend, who happens to live in that rocky city.

The latest additions to the Audi A5 model range are now available in Dubai, announces Al Nabooda Automobiles LLC, the official representative of Audi in Dubai. Audi’s two-door grand tourers, the A5 and S5 Coupe, are joined by two new variants – the Audi A5 Cabriolet and the Audi A5 Sportback.

The competition invites users to jointly develop new Infotainment applications with Volkswagen, and establishes the company as the first car manufacturer to use the idea of open innovation for the further development of its products.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has today announced that James Crichton, 44, has joined the company as Regional Director, Middle East on 1 June 2010. In his previous role he was Sales and Marketing Director for the BMW Group in the Middle East and based in Dubai.
