A couple of months ago, Lotus took the covers off the most powerful model that they ever made, the Evora GT430. And now, they have even bettered it with a faster version called the Evora GT430 Sport. The GT430 Sport does not get some racy exterior bits like the rear wing and front diffuser from the standard GT430. But it retains the performance mods which includes the AP Racing brakes, the two-way adjustable Ohlins dampers, and the Torsen limited-slip differential.

Saudi Arabia sells petrol and other petroleum products for some of the lowest prices in the world. But recently, the Saudi Arabian government is trying to diversify its economy away from oil as the future of “black gold” is uncertain. As part of that, there are apparently plans to link fuel prices in the country to the varying international prices. This will bring an instant increase of up to 80 percent in the fuel prices.

The FJ Cruiser has been around for a decade now. The quirky body and the out-of-the-box retro styling has given it a special place in the market (and our garage). After two false alarms when the FJ exited the US and Australian markets in 2014 and 2016 respectively, it is really time to say goodbye as Toyota has prepared a fitting farewell called the FJ Cruiser Final Edition for the Japanese market only.

At the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, Kia showed the 2018 Sorento facelift for Europe. South Korea, its home market, received the facelifted 2018 Sorento a few weeks ago. As it is just a mid-life refresh, the changes just include updated bumpers and minor tweaks in the design of the lights.

Since our Chrysler 300 SRT needed window tint, we hit up ACDelco to supply us with the “40%” version of their new ACDelco Shield film a couple of months ago. It comes with a 5-year warranty and installed at Liberty service centres. We also figured this would be a good chance to test how well tint actually does in keeping a car interior cool. So we grabbed an infra-red thermometer and sweated it out in the summer sun.
