Rolls-Royce unveiled their most valuable car in history, the Celestial Phantom, at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. It was made to celebrate the handover of the first Phantom to its owner back in January 2003. Other Rolls-Royce models to make their GCC debut were the Phantom Coupe Chicane, the Alpine Trial Centenary Collection and the Wraith.
There are two new Fiat models on displayed at the combined Fiat-Chrysler Group stand in the Dubai Motor Show. Alongside the Fiat 500, that’s been in the UAE for a couple of years now, are the Fiat 500 Abarth and the Fiat 500L. Both cars are here to gauge public reaction, which will determine whether either of those cars join the regular Fiat 500 in the GCC line-up.

The Fiat-Chrysler Group released two new sports coupes at this year’s Dubai Motor Show, both stunning and completely unlike each other. The SRT Viper and the Alfa Romeo 4C were officially launched, at a show stand that boasted all sorts of hot metal from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat-Abarth.
Nissan revealed a range of vehicles at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, with the most notable being the new facelifted Nissan Patrol, the Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, and the Nissan Smart Hybrid Taxi.
Hyundai had four regional debuts at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. The highly anticipated debut of the 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo was among them, along with the new i20 WRC, 2014 Centennial Limousine and HCD-14 Genesis concept car.
Dubai Police had their own stand at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, and had five cars on display, including a never-before-seen Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. Interestingly, Brabus also announced that they’ve built a tuned police-livery Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, dubbed the B63S-700 Widestar, although it was conspicuously absent from both the Dubai Police and the Brabus stands.
The all-new 2014 Mazda 3 made its debut at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show this week. It is Mazda’s third new launch this year, following the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla debuted at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. But before you run down to the showroom in excitement, know that the car isn’t slated to hit the roads yet.
