حقق سائق فريق أبوظبي بي بي فورد الشيخ خالد القاسمي أفضل مركز له خلال ثماني جولات في بطولة العالم للراليات، حيث بقي ضمن قائمة العشرة الأوائل في البطولة، وتمكن من تحسين نقاطه للمرة الرابعة في هذا الموسم. فيما وصل سائق الفريق “ياري ماتي لاتفالا” إلى المركز الرابع في ختام رالي ألمانيا أمس.

القاسمي جاء ثامناً في الرالي، وأصبح في المركز 14 في الترتيب العام للسائقين في بطولة العالم للراليات بعد أن كان في المركز 21 قبل منافسات جولة ألمانيا التي أسدل الستار عنها أمس، وأعتبرت جولة صعبة للغاية بسبب الطقس الحار، وتحديات المسارات الأسفلتية.

واستطاع الشيخ خالد القاسمي، في جولة ألمانيا من بطولة العالم للراليات، أن يحقق نتيجة قريبة من تلك التي حققها في العام 2009 حيث حل في المركز 12 بين السائقين العالميين، وفيما تبقى من جولات الموسم الحالي سيتمكن القاسمي من البقاء على لائحة أكبر منافس عربي في البطولة العالمية.
