The Chevy Aveo sedan was redesigned a year or so ago to sport a facelift. While not exactly beautiful, it gave the sedan a much better look, but GM left the hatchback alone, continuing in its older form. Well, the hatchback finally gets its facelift, and it ain’t pretty.

2008 Mazda 6 to debut at Frankfurt

The all-new redesigned 2008 Mazda 6 will debut in Europe first, at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Seen here is a teaser photo released by Mazda. Based on the new Ford Mondeo, which incidentally hasn’t been released here either, it is expected to feature similar engine choices to the Ford, including a 3.5-litre V6.

Anyone want a VW Jetta review?

We have been asking for an Eos or a Jetta for a month now, getting a date from VW and then getting postponed from their side again and again. Now, we don’t even mind being on a waiting list with a confirmed date in February 2012, but after numerous follow-ups by us, we were told by VW that there are preferences on who gets these cars for a test. This is an indirect hint that namely “established” magazines will drive the car before us. Even that “other” auto site drove these cars ages ago. We’ve decided to not follow up any more,
