It’s been more than a year since Bentley launched the V8 version of the Continental GT. Up until now, we’ve only been snagging test-drives of the various W12 models, and figured the V8 wouldn’t be as good as the pricier versions. But boy were we wrong.
The redesigned 2015 models of the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Chevrolet Suburban, the GMC Yukon, the GMC Yukon XL and the GMC Yukon Denali have been revealed.
The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is under way in Germany, with a number of new product launches, otherworldly concepts and near-production concepts. Some of the new models launched include the Nissan X-Trail, the Volkswagen Golf R and the Bentley Continental GT V8 S. Some of the near-production concepts, which hint at the future direction of these brands, include the sleek Infiniti Q30, the staid Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, the unlikely Volvo Coupe and the unfortunate BMW Active Tourer. Rolls-Royce probably has the record for most special-editions by now, taking the crown from the Ford Mustang in recent years. Here we have three special editions, two of them conceived right here in the UAE.
As we’ve been harping about for a year now, the Honda S2000 is tough to maintain cosmetically. Even after we got it detailed a couple of months ago, it was going to be a major task keeping the car looking clean. The aluminium bonnet had a pebble-sized ding on it for half a year now. We don’t know where it came from, but it was time to do something about it.

Who would’ve thought that the all-new 2014 Nissan Tiida would be one of the most anticipated cars of this year. When we drove the new BMW 335i last year, not even one soul even bothered to give it a first look, let alone a second one. On the other hand, people kept staring at our Tiida, and a few even came up to us to ask about it.

The Dacia Duster, better known as the Renault Duster in the GCC, has received a minor facelift for the 2014 model-year.
We landed ourselves a drive with the new Jaguar F-Type, apparently we being the first media to try it out on UAE roads. This is the first Jaguar we’ve brought home in years, aside from the one we bought recently, although if memory serves us right, they’ve never built anything like it in decades.
