Following its international debut in the 10th Dubai International Motor show, Taiwan’s first automotive brand LUXGEN has signed its first international distributorship agreement with Oman’s Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC to become the exclusive agency of LUXGEN in Oman.
The swoopy new 2011 Hyundai Sonata was officially launched in the UAE, at a launch party in Dubai. The launch comes four months after the model was shown off at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show, and two months after a media driving event in Oman that we weren’t invited to.

The all-new Porsche Panamera made its UAE debut at an event hosted in Abu Dhabi for customers and media. It was also the first time that the Panamera sedan has gone on sale outside Europe, as the GCC is the second region to make the car available in showrooms.
We were not invited, but apparently the 2010 Mazda 3 was launched at a Dubai showroom in the UAE, with simultaneous debuts for the Oman and Saudi Arabian markets. While they proudly claim to be the newest compact car in the GCC, it is also the most disappointing new car released this year.
