The VW Arteon started life as “a stylish Passat,” even badged as the Passat CC initially, then dropping the Passat to become the VW CC before finally getting its own name. For the new year, 2021 VW Arteon gets minor changes, a new body style as well as oodles of performance, in the form of 2021 VW Arteon R. The irony is that the Arteon has been dropped from the Middle East line-up already due to slow sales and overpricing, but let’s not dwell on that.
There’s no denying the Bentley Bentayga has polarising looks, yet it’s been a solid sales success for the Crewe-based premium brand. The leather-lined behemoth recorded an 18 percent year-on-on-year increase in sales in 2019 and accounted for 45 per cent of the company’s production volume last year.
Soon after BMW unveiled the four-door supercar slayer, the 2021 BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz lifted the covers off their four-door rocket, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 S sedan and its wagon variant. The new E63 S follows the newly refreshed E Class that was launched some time ago.
Just a week ago, BMW showed off the facelifted 5 Series range and it was only a matter of time before the arrival of the 2021 BMW M5 and M5 Competition, the absolute lunatics of the range. Just a few months after the reveal of the updated 4-door 2021 Mercedes E Class, the German manufacturer has now shown off the Coupe and Cabriolet versions of the executive sedan. The lineup also includes the new E53 AMG Coupe and Cabriolet.
When the latest BMW 7-Series and X7 came around, people strained their eyes, frowning at the humongous kidney grill plastered up their front. But the designers at Bavaria seem to have no plans to stop there. Here’s the new 2021 BMW 4 Series with an even taller iteration of the kidney grill, as if to spite detractors.
Lamborghini has teased us the reveal for a new addition to their lineup in the past week. The company finally gave us a proper sight of their new family member, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder. Not quite a new model, but hey, it is a new Lambo.
The BMW 5-Series is a very important car for BMW. The mid-size sedan had a reputation as the “fun” entry in a relatively mundane segment, although it has lost that excitement over the past decade thanks to forgettable design. BMW has now given their existing sedan a facelift, bringing it in line with the latest 3-Series.
The Targa is an iconic body style for the Porsche 911, combining the advantages of both the Coupe and Cabriolet. Porsche has never missed offering a Targa version of all their 911s since 1965, even if the interpretation has wildly varied. So, when the 992 gen Porsche 911 came out last year, a Targa version of that was always on the cards. And here it is, the 2021 Porsche 911 Targa 4 and 4S.
