The 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour just debuted at the 2012 New York Auto Show, except that Honda is choosing to call it a concept for now.

Honda Accord Limited Edition is last hurrah for 2012
Those in the know will be aware that there is a new Honda Accord due for the 2013 model year. So to mark the end of the current version, Honda Middle East is offering the 2012 Honda Accord Limited Edition sedan.

We were wondering why Honda Middle East didn’t do this sooner. Prices of Japanese cars are so high nowadays due to the retarded world of currency fluctuations that the American-built Honda Accord Coupe was priced higher than the Japanese-built Honda Accord sedan in 2011. Of course, now the sedan is also being imported from the United States, although Honda isn’t making a big deal out of it.
So we got a 2011 Honda Accord 2.4EX sedan
One look through our archives and you’ll realise how many times we drove the latest-generation Honda Accord when it launched back in 2008. Come 2011, and we’re at it again. Right after driving the facelifted V6 coupe, we picked up this optioned-up 2.4-litre sedan, and it of course feels familiar.

Today’s recall of the day is brought to you by Honda. About 383,000 Honda Civic, Accord and Element crossover vehicles from the 2003 and 2004 model years are being recalled in the U.S. for an ignition lock defect.

The American-market Honda Accord has received a facelift for 2011, which amounts to little more than a nose-job and a bit of fiddling with the tail lamps. Engine choices and transmissions remain the same, although a few bits of equipment have been added.
Honda Accord Crosstour 2010 launched in the UAE
Honda Middle East launched the new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour in the GCC, debuting during a press event at the Atlantis hotel in Dubai. The American-built Accord Crosstour will be available in only one V6 trim level in the UAE, and “combines the sophisticated refinement of a premium sedan with versatile characteristics of an SUV to create an entirely distinct concept within the crossover segment.” Indeed.
Honda recalls 2001-2002 models, UAE not affected
Honda has added another 437,000 vehicles to an existing global recall for faulty air bags that dates back to November 2008, now totalling 510,000 cars.
